Fiji & Solomon Islands Report
by Stephen McKay SOC Director
Earlier this year I had the great privilege of traveling to the Islands of Fiji and the Solomon Islands to promote the School of Christ in the vast world of the South Pacific.
My dear friend in Fiji is a missionary evangelist who has traveled to almost every country in the South Pacific preaching the Gospel, is requesting that we bring the School of Christ to this region. The door has opened, through this brother, to reach every Island Nation. There are about twenty-five nations in this region broken up among thirty thousand islands.
The South Pacific is so vast and spread out that it would take a great amount of time for one individual to work the entire area. I do not believe that it was by accident that God allowed us to come in with this man of God. The greatest part of the work has been completed by him, and now we will begin to bring the School of Christ to each country that has not received the life-changing message of the School of Christ.
I traveled on to the Solomon Islands from Fiji, and met with Pastor Kenneth, a friend of mine who helped us with the School we ran in Honiara in 2007. Pastor David, head of the Assemblies of God in the Solomon Islands said, "I want you to bring the School of Christ to my country because I saw the impact that the School made on the pastors that attended in 2007." He wants us to come and begin to train all of the Assemblies of God pastors in that country!
We are planning to begin this training in 2012. God Bless you for your help in making this possible!
