Costa Rica Report
by Dr. Marion Dodson SOC Director
Costa Rica Pastors Alberto Arias and Giovanni Arce
The School of Christ has had a great impact on the leaders of the church in Costa Rica. Walter Montenegro was the man who was pushing the school forward but after the departure of Oscar Rodriguez, I realized that pastor Walter did not understand the vision of the school. He practiced things in his services that we, from the school of Christ, do not practice. We believe that they were not aligned with the word of God. This was the reason I traveled to Costa Rica.
I held meetings with pastors in the country to establish new schools that will not allow the mixture of this message. These pastors attended our conference in February of this year, and they will begin the school next month in the area of Alajuela.
Let me tell you that one of the reports submitted by the former director says that 150 students went through the school in San Jose, Costa Rica. So, we do have people that have heard the truth; and I ask that you pray that God would give us grace to develop a work with the vision of the school that will go nationwide. We firmly believe that we have found the right men for the Holy Spirit to push His message on and to restore the message of Pentecost in Costa Rica.
