After retiring from the practice of medicine (ear, nose, and throat) in 1999, I became involved in helping build a small hospital in a relatively remote part of Honduras.

Upon helping complete the initial phase of the facility it was apparent that I was not to be in the organization and coming before the Lord, I asked "why did you send me to this place. No one wants me here, I don't speak the language, and I'm 63 years old, why?" He spoke very clearly to me, why are you complaining, you know if they rejected me they will reject you, if they have spoken evil of me they will speak evil of you. You build an agriculture building, there has never been glory to man in agriculture and never will be. (I knew immediately that I had always received the glory that He should have been receiving).

You invite the pastors to come to this building to learn to earnestly pray for one another, then they will begin to love one another and I will give them of my Spirit. I began to do this and He led me to Brother Clendennen and the School of Christ, making the greatest change in my Christian life I had ever experienced.

Brother Clendennen led by the Spirit of God taught the School of Christ to the pastors and leaders from all of Central America in this simple agriculture building. These spirit filled pastors have taken this School of Christ from Central America to Cuba, Colombia and Bolivia. We are blessed to be a part of this work of God.
