SOC in Trinidad and Tobago
by Rodney Jaggernauth SOC Field Worker
The little island of Trinidad and Tobago has successfully conducted yet another School of Christ International for the year 2011. This time we headed to the south western tip of Trinidad in a little village called Icacos. We had eighteen (18) students. Apparently the students adapted to the location quite quickly through all there battles to be apart. One student stood and testified how God actually removed her severe back pain at the School of Christ.
Lives were touched, changed, and impacted by the School of Christ yet again. The Students were challenged on all fronts in prayer, fasting and the Word of God. One student said while being at the School, he realizes that he is too soft on sin and recognize now the importance of preaching the whole council of the Lord.
There were great moments of weeping and moaning as the Holy Spirit began to deal with the students during prayer time. Tarrying for an hour was new for some. Some that never fasted for three days straight on water only accomplished such; truly it was an experience that they would never forget. During the School one student testified that he had never felt so much love in one place at one time. That was great to hear for we know that God is love.
It was an inspiration to see what God had done in the lives of the students in two and a half weeks. Those who never knew God's will for their lives, are now aware and have gone forth striving to fulfill God's plan for their lives. We hope by the grace of God to have another School in late October if God spare our lives. We thank the School of Christ International, its directors and other contributors for its role in making the School a success. All glory be to Jesus.
In Christ,
