Limerick, Ireland Report

During the first three weeks of July 2010, 39 students passed through the School of Christ in Limerick, Ireland. This included full time students as well as part time students from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Cyprus and Nigeria. The part time students in attendance had graduated the school at least once previously but desired to be refreshed and re-fired for service where Christ has placed them. We did not have the room to cater for many other part time students who desired to come.

Again it was remarkable to watch the change worked in individual hearts by the power and truth of God's Word. In the three weeks the whole direction of individual's lives was changed. In the first few days some got angry at how they had been lied to and deceived by so-called preachers. Over these weeks a new zeal and fire was ignited to go out and reach many others who are perishing for lack of hearing the pure Word of God.

The prayer was constant and intense. Distractions were many. But praise God there was a praying through to touch God in these meetings. A local security guard was so scared by the sound of prayer and weeping coming from the meeting room that he came to investigate. One of the students answered his inquiry as to what was happening by saying, 'we are praying for you, that you might be saved.'

As we came to the Holy Spirit series there was a great lift in expectation, desire and prayer which made it a highlight of this school. Such a hunger for a divine enduement of power gripped some who could hardly leave the room. Prayers ascended for power to reach the millions in these nations who lie in darkness.

Amongst those who gathered for this school were those who had been in full time ministry for many years as well as young preachers, missionaries, and young or new believers won to Christ through previous students. Mr Olu Koleoso, the new Director of the School in Nigeria also graduated in this school. Much prayer as well as much planning went on during this school for the running of schools in the nations of those represented. In the coming year we plan to run schools in Sweden, Germany, Spain and elsewhere as God leads us forward in His will.

In running and graduating these schools the old Adamic nature of self is being dealt with as we prepare a vessel through which God can bring a genuine Holy Ghost revival to this prodigal continent of Europe. According to the best statistics it is estimated that at present growth Europe will be 25% Muslim in 12 years time. This is shocking. This fact alone has greatly burdened us in this school. We do believe that we are now training and will train the leaders, preachers, pastors, evangelists and missionaries to meet this crisis hour in Europe. We covet your earnest prayers.
